QPS, LLC is hiring: LPN/RN (PRN) in Springfield

The LPN/RN position will be responsible for performing nursing care and related tasks as determined by the protocol and by monitoring and assurance of participant safety. In addition, they are responsible for providing other staff members with the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care for participants. Ensure work is done in accordance with the processes and procedures that ensure compliance with applicable rules and regulations relative to human subjects in research.

This position is PRN (as needed). Hours will be dependent on study conduct and will include evenings or overnights at times. Shift differential will be paid. If selected for an interview, a detailed job description will be provided at that time.

Essential Functions

• Read and understand study protocols
• Monitor and gather needed information from participants
• Monitor and record adverse events, collecting necessary information to ensure participant safety
• Provide personal care to participants, with the ability to provide care for multiple participants simultaneously as needed
• Perform vital signs
• Collect participant specimens as needed (i.e. urine, stool, etc.)
• Administer injections, both subcutaneous and intramuscular
• Communicate effectively with other team members, as well as with participants
• Demonstrate consistent dependability and punctuality regarding scheduled shift and shift tasks

Education/Experience

• Associates Degree in Nursing or completion of certificate program in Nursing
• Current RN or LPN certification and registration with the Missouri State Board of Nursing
• Industry experience preferred
• Knowledge of CFR/ICH Guidelines preferred
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
