Kinetix is currently seeking to fill the position of Household Goods Customer Service Coordinator in our Shelton, Connecticut office to support our corporate client’s relocation program delivery.

The Customer Service Coordinator responsibilities include:

  • Providing service to all client locations with full coordination of domestic and international household goods moves
  • Booking ocean/air/truck transport of household goods cargo including generation of all required documentation
  • Negotiating pricing with vendors across our network of providers in 137 countries.
  • Maintaining data in proprietary database for shipment tracking
  • Calculation and quotation of pricing to clients
  • Providing regular status updates to clients through e-mail and/or reports
  • Working with and providing support to relocation managers.
  • Invoice processing and billing of household goods files
  • Supporting program management and reporting functions.
  • Supporting sales force with subject matter expertise for prospective client presentations
  • Other duties as assigned

Experience Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
  • 3-5 Years in the delivery of household goods customer service
  • Bilingual capabilities preferred but not required

Job Requirements:

  • Work both independently and as part of a team
  • Strong oral and written skills
  • Skilled and experienced in working with a database and all Microsoft Office programs
  • Effective multi-tasker with strong organizational and inter-personal skills
