Our York, PA team is looking for a mid-senior level Mechanical Engineer with experience in infrastructure design or MEP/building design. Ideal candidate has management experience or ready to lead their own team. PE license is highly preferred.

Job Details
Responsibilities: Design mechanical systems for large central cooling and heating plants, including boilers, chillers, cooling towers, pumps, large bore piping, and control systems Perform engineering calculations such as heat and mass balance, code compliance analysis, hydraulic modeling, energy analysis, and pipe stress analysis Provide technical direction, guidance, and mentorship to team members, including mechanical engineers and designers Take initiative in completing design and analysis tasks for project submission packages, which include drawings, specifications, cost estimates, and design narratives Collaborate with project managers, team members, other disciplines, and external consultants to address design coordination and issues Participate in construction administration by attending meetings, reviewing shop drawings, conducting site visits, and documenting progress
Requirements: Possess strong leadership, teamwork, communication, and customer service skills Hold a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution Licensed as a Professional Engineer with over 7 years of experience in engineering design and construction administration Proficient in designing using Autodesk Revit for Building Information Modeling (BIM) Experienced in conducting fieldwork and documenting existing engineering conditions
Preferred qualifications: Experience with institutional infrastructure systems Experience with ASME B31.1 Power Piping Code
