Project Supervision involves directing and coordinating human and material resources throughout the project's lifecycle using modern management techniques to achieve objectives related to scope, cost, time, quality, and stakeholder satisfaction.

Must have experience managing projects valued at $1,000,000 or more.

Represent company with professionalism and integrity. This includes maintaining a clean job site trailer, dressing appropriately, using respectful , and keeping any inappropriate materials off the job site.

Adhere to all local, state, and federal laws, and enforce company policies.

Oversee direct construction labor, including Assistant Superintendents and field crews, ensuring adherence to the highest standards of material and workmanship to meet design specifications.

Manage job site manpower, materials, equipment, project scheduling, subcontractor coordination, and job cost decisions in collaboration with the Assistant Superintendent and Project Manager.

Work diligently to ensure successful adherence to the project schedule. Revise the schedule with the Project Manager or Project Engineer as needed.

Strive to deliver exceptional quality in all aspects of the work.

Maintain a safe job site by acting and directing all labor as if you were an OSHA Compliance Officer.

Participate in and coordinate all job-specific meetings, including subcontractor pre-construction meetings, safety meetings, and weekly coordination meetings.

Perform all required job site inspections and forecasts, ensuring that all documentation is processed in Expedition according to the Superintendent’s Reference Manual.

Organize and maintain field office files and drawings, including keeping a clean set of “history” drawings on-site and updating them whenever revised drawings are issued.

Maintain a clean and up-to-date set of “as-built” drawings on-site.

Schedule and coordinate all required state and local inspections for the Certificate of Occupancy and project closeout. Assist the Project Manager or Project Engineer with project closeout documentation.

Collaborate with subcontractors to help company and the subcontractors achieve project completion. Work proactively to avoid back charges and field change orders.

Verify time and material tickets for all subcontractor change order requests.

Maintain open and respectful communication with Owners during phone calls and job site visits, addressing their questions in a diplomatic manner.
