About the Role
We are excited to invite applications for the Vice President of Strategic Partnerships. This role is crucial as you will lead our corporate sponsorship sales strategy, focusing on both enhancing relationships with existing partners and cultivating new opportunities. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader with a cross-functional mindset, adept at leveraging both internal and external data for insightful decision-making.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Driving partnership sales, activation, and renewal initiatives.
- Building and nurturing relationships with senior decision-makers from leading brands.
- Creating innovative partnership platforms that resonate with our mission.
- Recruiting, hiring, and developing a high-performing team.
- Collaborating with various stakeholders to maximize value for our company and partners.
To thrive in this role, you should possess a Bachelor's degree along with at least 8 years of partnership sales experience. A background in an agency, team, league, or rights holder will be highly valued. You'll need a proven history of securing multi-year, six- and seven-figure partnership deals and experience in dynamic branded content activations within digital spaces. Excellent communication, analytical, and negotiation skills are critical, as is flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Proficiency with sponsor-related analytic tools and software is also required.
