About the Role

The organization is looking for a passionate and motivated Director of Development to lead fundraising efforts that align with its mission of safeguarding reproductive rights and healthcare access. As a vital strategic leader, you will craft and implement innovative fundraising strategies, including membership initiatives, major donor engagement, online campaigns, foundation grants, and special events. Your ability to tell the organization’s compelling story will be crucial in building relationships with donors and foundation funders and rallying support for the cause.

We seek candidates with at least 5 years of experience in development, including a minimum of 2 years in a leadership role. The ideal applicant will demonstrate a commitment to reproductive freedom, possess exceptional communication and leadership skills, and have a proven success record in fundraising initiatives. You will oversee all aspects of donor communication and fundraising efforts to ensure the organization has the necessary resources to fulfill its mission.

As the Director of Development, you will collaborate closely with the Executive Director, the Development Associate, and grant-writing contractors, playing a key role in promoting the organization's advocacy and electoral efforts.
