Manufacturing Engineer Job at Hunter Engineering Company in Raymond

We are seeking a talented Manufacturing Engineer to oversee and improve manufacturing processes at our Raymond, MS location. The engineer’s responsibilities include identifying areas for improvement, maintaining high levels of manufacturing and product quality, designing new processes, and ensuring cost efficiency and conformance with regulatory standards.

As a Manufacturing Engineer:

What you will do:

• Cycle time analysis to find and execute throughput improvement projects.
• Programming PCB Components on various types of equipment: Parmi, Ersa, Panasonic, etc.
• Assist with capital and tooling analysis, strategies, justification, and acquisitions.
• Capacity planning and strategy development for manufacturing processes
• Review assembly operations, component designs, and corresponding details to verify manufacturing feasibility.
• Directs manufacturing process design, development, and/or improvement of manufacturing processes for throughput optimization.
• Participate in discovery and deployment of capital equipment projects.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineers at all manufacturing sites; Assist with NPIs(DFMA)
• Investigate new technologies for manufacturing process needs.
• Capacity resource planning
• Oversee tooling and equipment builds, qualifications, and implementations.
• Provides technical support for specific plant operations.
• Ensure that manufacturing has accurate and detailed information on specifications to produce the part.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Additional Qualifications Include:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering required.
• 3-5 years of professional experience in Manufacturing or Engineering environment is required;5-7years of experience preferred.
• Strong leadership skills working in a collaborative environment.
• Proven Project Management experience
• Effective communication skills across all levels of the organization
• Strong analytical skills, very forward thinking with continuous improvement mindset
• Experience performing DFMA events and assisting with NPIs.
