A Vice President of Event Sales with Tom’s Watch Bar is responsible for business development, building relationships, event preparation and execution. The Vice President of Event Sales will be responsible for building relationships to sell Tom’s Watch Bar locations for premier events, holiday parties, sports watch parties, etc. This position is also responsible for liaising with local operations and corporate team members. The Vice President of Event Sales will develop strategies to maximize sales opportunities, develop sustainable relationships within target groups and ultimately generate event business for the restaurants. They will collect and update information about community and target markets; design, implement and host events within the restaurant for sales and/or marketing opportunities, and attend offsite events to draw business into the restaurant. RESPONSIBILITIES: Maintain or exceed budgeted booking goals and revenue Brings database of clients Research market to identify opportunities for events Participate in the organization of in-house and outside promotional events Responsible for coordination of outside event services such as security, step and repeats, photographer, etc. Assist and oversee day of event setup and logistics; Oversee operation of events to completion to ensure proper execution Develop new business strategy and initiatives;

including sales calls Negotiate terms with Clients Input event details into Management Database (hold date, client contact information, etc.) Write contracts following approved parameters Create detailed Banquet Event Orders Submit Weekly Events Report which include List of events from previous week and upcoming week, previous week's revenue, forecasted revenues for the upcoming week, upcoming month REQUIREMENTS: 3+ years’ experience working in a similar role OR in a luxury hotel or catering company with event revenues of $1.5 million or more Experience with on-site event execution is required, off-site event execution highly desired Exceptional communication and follow up skills Ability to hold persuasive conversations with large company delegates The ability to work a flexible schedule and 8+ hours / day ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Medical, Dental, Vision and Life Insurance Deferred Retirement Plan with Company Match Paid Time Off Relocation Assistance Professional Career Development and Growth Opportunities
