The Global Procurement Lead - Indirect Materials is an integral part of our Management team based out of our US - Teaneck, NJ site. The Global Indirect Procurement Lead is responsible for managing and optimizing the procurement of indirect goods and services, including areas such as IT, marketing, facilities, professional services, travel, and more. This role is tasked with leading the development and execution of procurement strategies, ensuring the best value for the organization, and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers. The leader will collaborate with internal stakeholders to support business objectives, drive cost savings, and ensure compliance with procurement policies. Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement procurement strategies for indirect categories that support business goals, focusing on cost savings, quality, and risk management. Establish and maintain relationships with key suppliers, negotiate favorable terms, manage performance, and ensure alignment with business goals. Lead initiatives to reduce costs without compromising quality or delivery timelines. Identify opportunities for improvement and innovation within the supply chain. Manage and mentor a team of Category Managers and foster a collaborative and high-performance culture, providing guidance and development opportunities. Engage and align with key business stakeholders on business objectives and outcomes. Partner with internal stakeholders (HR, IT, Marketing, Finance, etc.) to understand their needs, align procurement initiatives, and ensure value-added services. Assess and mitigate supply chain risks by diversifying suppliers, negotiating favorable terms, and ensuring contingency plans are in place. Use data and analytics to monitor procurement activities, track KPIs, and make informed decisions to drive innovation and continuous improvement. Lead negotiations for key contracts, ensuring favorable terms on pricing, delivery schedules, quality standards, and service agreements. Evaluate and qualify new suppliers to ensure they meet company standards and long-term business needs. Align procurement activities with corporate sustainability goals, promoting ethical and responsible sourcing. Skills

Excellent analytical capability, including financial analysis. Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external clients. Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Engineering, Chemicals, or related field (Master’s preferred). 10-15 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management, within indirect procurement categories. Proven experience in strategic sourcing, supplier negotiations, and managing supplier relationships. Strong understanding of procurement processes, contract law, and risk management. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop a high-performing team. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on data-driven decision-making. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally. Knowledge of ERP systems (JD Edwards and Oracle preferred) and procurement software tools. Certification in supply chain or procurement (CPSM, CSCP, or similar) is a plus.
