Job Title : Chief Operating Officer (COO) – Hotel Construction & Renovation
Location : Fully Remote / Dallas
Salary : $160,000 - $280,000 per year, plus performance-based bonuses and potential for equity shares.
Are you a strategic leader with a passion for excellence in the construction industry? A top contractor specializing in hotel construction and renovation is seeking an experienced and dynamic Chief Operating Officer (COO) to lead operations in Dallas, Texas.
About the Role :
As COO, you will oversee the day-to-day operations, ensuring seamless execution of high-profile hotel construction and renovation projects across the region. This role involves collaborating with key stakeholders, managing cross-functional teams, and driving company growth while maintaining the highest standards of quality and efficiency. Additionally, there is a path to becoming one of the directors, with the potential to acquire shares in the company.
Key Responsibilities :
Oversee all aspects of construction operations, including project management, budgeting, and scheduling.
Develop and implement operational strategies to enhance project delivery and client satisfaction.
Lead and mentor teams, fostering a culture of excellence, safety, and collaboration.
Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to client specifications.
Drive business development efforts to expand the company's portfolio.
Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and negotiations.
Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Monitor financial performance, cash flows, and optimize resources for profitability.
Qualifications :
Proven experience in a senior leadership role within the construction industry, preferably in hospitality or hotel renovation.
Strong background in managing large-scale construction projects, with a focus on renovation.
Excellent financial acumen, including experience managing cash flows, budgets, contracts, and P&L.
Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire high-performing teams.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for client relations and team collaboration.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degrees and certifications are a plus.
