As a Software Engineering Intern at Anon, you'll work alongside our engineering team to build and improve our core authentication platform. You'll have the opportunity to work on real, customer-facing features and integrations that directly impact thousands of developers. You will work on meaningful projects and interface directly with customers to understand their needs and build solutions. Key Responsibilities
Product Development
Build and ship features across our full technology stack Develop and maintain APIs for our core authentication platform Create custom integrations for enterprise customers Write clean, tested code following team best practices Debug and resolve production issues Customer Impact
Work directly with customers to understand their technical needs Build proof-of-concept implementations for potential clients Create technical demonstrations of platform capabilities Develop reusable solutions that benefit multiple customers Contribute to customer-facing documentation Team Collaboration
Participate in code reviews and technical discussions Work with product managers to refine feature requirements Collaborate with the design team on user interfaces Present project updates in team meetings Contribute to technical documentation and internal tools Growth Opportunities
Learn from experienced engineers through mentorship Gain hands-on experience with modern development practices Understand authentication systems and API design Develop skills in both frontend and backend development Experience the full software development lifecycle What We're Looking For
Technical Foundation
Currently pursuing a CS degree or equivalent practical experience Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript or similar languages Understanding of fundamental programming concepts Eagerness to learn new technologies and best practices Familiarity with web development basics (HTML, CSS, APIs) Project Experience
Side projects that demonstrate initiative and creativity Contributions to open source projects (a plus) Hackathon or coding competition experience (a plus) Experience building web applications or tools Examples of self-directed learning and problem-solving Mindset & Approach
Strong desire to learn and grow as an engineer Self-starter who takes initiative on projects Good communication skills and ability to ask hard questions Enthusiasm for building developer tools and AI technology Desire to work in a collaborative, in-person environment in San Francisco (Hayes Valley) Internship Details & Compensation
