Your role:
You will work on a variety of projects related to analyzing and interpreting complex data sets and will play a key role in driving our data-driven decision making. You are a data scientist and Python developer with knowledge in multiple technologies; you are driven, curious and passionate about your work; you are innovative, creative and focused on excellence; and you want to be part of an ego-free work environment where we value honest, healthy interactions and collaboration.

Key responsibilities:
Assist with the collection and analysis of large data sets.
Help implement algorithms and models for data analysis.
Assist with data visualization and presentation of findings to key stakeholders.
Help maintain and improve data infrastructure.
Be a customer advocate that implements our Neuro AI offering.
Work in a highly collaborative, fast-paced environment with your peers on the Neuro AI team.
Your profile:
Pursuing a degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering or related field.
Experience with Python, Pandas, Numpy, Jupyter Notebook, GitHub.
Knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, Matplotlib).
Experience with machine learning is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Available to intern for the full 12-week internship starting June or July.

Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between $[102,820- 158,500] depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program and stock options, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
