As we plan to expand our sourcing channels and introduce additional product lines, we are looking for a talented individual to be our VP of Procurement. What you will do:

Lead all procurement activities and expand sourcing channels:

Your primary objective is to ensure the smooth operations of all sourcing and procurement activities, including new vendor selection, existing vendor management, purchase requisitions, pricing/MOQ negotiations, sample requests, and logistics arrangements. You will oversee the expansion of sourcing channels to high-quality and competitively priced suppliers, focusing on vetting and sourcing from Chinese suppliers. Continuously improve procurement processes:

You will proactively look for ways to improve and optimize every element of the procurement and sourcing process, enhancing procurement efficiencies by implementing improvements using current budgets and resources. Coordinate the use of alternative or under-utilized materials:

Collaborate closely with the Manufacturing department during the new cabinet line development process to provide technical specifications and proper usage guidelines for PVC and other construction materials. Manage the Purchasing & Inventory department:

Provide leadership, inspiration, and motivation to the Purchasing & Inventory department, empowering team members through training and mentoring. Collaborate across departments:

Work closely with the leaders of other departments, including Warehouse & Logistics, Manufacturing, and Sales & Distribution, to optimize overall processes and introduce new efficiencies and innovations. Who you are:

An experienced industry professional:

You have a minimum of a college diploma and 5 or more years of management experience in sourcing and procurement for finished products, hardware, and raw materials used in cabinet making. A team leader and effective manager:

You understand how to build rapport and trust with your team and guide them to greater operational efficiency. Budget-conscious and forward-thinking:

You seek to reduce purchasing costs while maintaining high quality and can identify and resolve procurement issues. Experience with relevant supplier management systems:

You have experience in ERP implementation and have worked with Microsoft Dynamics/SAP or other similar ERP systems. Why Work with Us?
