Schedule: Full Time
Shift : Monday Friday; 8:00am 5:00pm and Saturdays 9:00am 12:00pm; Saturdays are usually about once a month.

The role youll contribute:
Office Assistant/Receptionist to work in a Medical Clinic with one or more physicians. Dependable front office staff to greet and welcome the patients as they arrive in the clinic. Ability to accurately explain the check in process to patients and register the patients in the EMR. Works closely with patients and Medical Assistants to prepare them for their visit with the physician. Flexible to work in other areas of the physician group as needed and can work with multiple host systems. Works under supervision of Office Manager.
The value youll bring to the team:
- Perform clerical duties for physician clinic.
- Answer telephones in a professional and courteous manner, take messages in the EHR system and task to proper Care Team Member.
- Schedule new and follow-up appointments
- Professionally and politely greet patients as they enter the clinic
- Communicate appropriately and clearly to patients, co-workers, office manager, physicians and administration.
Qualifications
The expertise and experiences youll need to succeed:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of basic math and modern office equipment (fax machine, copy machine, scanner, etc.)
- Basic and intermediate computer knowledge and skills
- Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
