The Sr. Graphic Designer role is responsible for developing both digital and print design projects (advertisements, in-store signage, packaging, brochures, etc.) to support the OHC portfolio of brands, including Element Electronics, TYTUS Grills, Appliance, and future businesses and brands. To succeed in this role, the Sr. Graphic Designer will need creativity, excellent project management skills and a strong understanding of brand identity and brand communications. The Sr. Graphic Designer will be able to visualize and create the look-and-feel of our business via our owned, paid and earned assets while collaborating with the rest of the marketing team. Other responsibilities are:
Leads and executes graphics, illustrations, and other creative materials for packaging, web, social, and other digital and print platforms that is on-brand, reinforces our status and reputation, and is appropriate for our various audiences Ideates and creates concepts by designing layouts of art and copy with high attention to detail regarding arrangement, size, type size/style, and related visuals Designs materials to simplify communication of complex concepts and data for internal communications and business materials Optimizes and pushes forward existing items to improve brand awareness, conversion, and product adoption Coordinates with internal teams, including marketing, in the design concept phase through completion of a project Obtains approval of concepts by preparing rough layouts for review and prepares final layouts Collaborates with Art Director and other members of the graphic design team to produce on-brand content Assist in creating guidelines for how logos and other brand materials should be displayed and used Requirements
Bachelor's degree in graphic design, industrial design, or interior design or equivalent experience preferred 7+ years of direct graphic design/visual design experience Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, After Effects) Experience with developing graphics, illustrations, videos, gifs, and other creative materials for web, social, and other digital platforms - animation experience is a strong plus Experience with consumer goods is preferred but not required Experience mentoring junior level designers Additional Information:
