Job Description:
- Teach in-person and/or online classes as needed in the Fall, Spring, and Summer semesters.
- Lead/participate in online (asynchronous) and classroom discussions with students
- Ability to learn to manage class in multiple learning modalities.
- Instruct and supervise a diverse population of students in the classroom.
- Possess a commitment to student engagement, student success, and instructional excellence.
- Maintain current knowledge of effective teaching methodologies and utilize a variety of instructional delivery methods, classroom media, and educational resources.
- Grading and providing detailed feedback on all assignments (critical thinking assignments and discussion board) within a timely manner. This includes in-depth feedback specific to critical thinking and writing.
- Actively respond to student emails and requests within 24 hours.
- Engage with students through in-person and/or electronic communications.
- Employs a positive and professional tone in all communications with students, staff, and faculty.
- Be a scholar in the area of Cyber Security.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or higher with a major in course content area
Experience Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of Cyber Security experience
- Evidence of competence in the area of instruction
- Maintain expertise appropriate to teaching responsibilities
