We are hiring multiple Manufacturing Engineering Technicians to ensure that production processes are efficient, compliant, and aligned with quality standards. The position works closely with teams in Manufacturing Operations, Quality, and Engineering to ensure adherence to best practices, resolve issues, and drive process improvements. This role requires full engagement on the production floor, with the authority to halt operations if necessary to maintain product and process integrity.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, address, and resolve inefficiencies in real time to uphold operational and quality standards.
- Provide training, guidance, and support to manufacturing operators to promote a culture of continuous improvement.
- Monitor and evaluate production processes to ensure compliance with established protocols and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with Quality and Manufacturing teams to implement corrective actions and process enhancements.
- Maintain detailed records of observations, corrective actions, and process modifications.
- Apply manufacturing process controls to identify root causes of production issues and implement data-driven solutions.
- Enforce adherence to standards by exercising the authority to stop production when necessary.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to develop and refine production workflows and systems.
Required
- At least 5 years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role within the medical device industry.
- Ability to speak some Spanish to effectively communicate with a diverse workforce.
- Proven expertise in manufacturing process control and troubleshooting.
- Strong leadership skills with a hands-on approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
- Familiarity with medical device manufacturing standards and regulatory guidelines.
- Demonstrated ability to adapt quickly to new systems, processes, and tools.
Preferred
- Experience with process improvement methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma.
- Proficiency in manufacturing execution systems (e.g., Odoo).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration across departments.
