Senior Attorney - Medical Malpractice Defense (Portables Not Required)

Prominent law firm is seeking a Senior Medical Malpractice Attorney for their Westchester or New York City offices. Ideal candidate will have 8-20+ years of medical malpractice defense litigation experience. Portables are not required.

Responsibilities:

• Taking and defending depositions
• Draft briefs, motions for summary judgment, pleadings, discovery
• Draft reports to clients
• Coordinate with and work-up expert witnesses
• Participate in trial and mediation
• Represent clients at courtroom appearances

Qualifications:

• Must be admitted in New York
• Must have familiarity and experience with NY Courts
• Excellent research, writing and verbal communication skills required
• 8-20+ years of experience

Salary range 175k-200k+ depending on experience + Comprehensive Benefits Package
