Job Summary

Job Duties
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Performs maintenance worker duties when not acting as a heavy equipment operator.
- Daily operation of equipment would include: three-wheel street brooms, specialized trash machines, large farm/beach tractors, beach sanitizer machines, tracked and wheeled skid steer loaders. Occasional equipment can include; loaders, excavators, backhoes, tankers, flatbeds, snowplows, dump trucks, etc.
- When not operating equipment, will perform duties as maintenance worker to maintain the cleanliness and functions of the Town streets, beach and boardwalk areas including support of numerous special events.
- Work includes some lifting of heavy items with and without assistance.
- Work schedules vary but will include nights, weekends, and holidays during the year.
