Snelling is hiring: Recruiter in Baton Rouge

Snelling Staffing is looking for a recruiter for the Baton Rouge branch of a large credit union running throughout the state of Louisiana. The role would include performing all functions related to full-cycle recruiting: applications flow, pre-employment testing, job postings, and developing strategies to attract top talent.

Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00AM-5:00PM
Pay: $25-$31 per hour

Recruiter Duties:

• Conduct full-cycle recruiting to include researching, sourcing, evaluating resumes, conducting assessments, conducting phone screens, in-person and zoom interviews, and qualifying candidates to present to Hiring Managers.
• Maintain and develop pipeline of candidates for future positions.
• Create and post accurate and attractive job postings.
• Manage contact with candidates during recruitment process
• Work closely with hiring managers to understand hiring needs

Recruiter Requirements:

• 3 years of experience to include corporate and high-volume recruiting
• 2-year college degree in Human Resources, Business Admin, or a related field of study. A Human Resources certification and/or additional directly related experience may be considered in lieu of education requirements.
• Prior experience with applicant tracking systems is a MUST!
• Prior experience with social media and non-traditional methods of recruitment is high preferred!
• Excellent oral, written, and telephone communication skills.
• Exceptional interpersonal, problem solving, and negotiating skills.
