Position Overview:

We are seeking a Technical Recruiter who is passionate about identifying and attracting top-tier talent across all our teams, including hardware, software, product design, marketing, sales, and finance, to support our continued growth. This person will be responsible for sourcing, engaging, and hiring highly skilled professionals for roles such as hardware engineers, product managers, firmware developers, electrical engineers, and related positions. You will work closely with hiring managers and department leads to develop effective hiring strategies, ensure a seamless recruitment process, and deliver an exceptional candidate experience.

While this role will mainly be focused on technical Hardware and Product roles, there will also be opportunity to work on roles in other departments such as: Marketing, Sales, FInance, etc.

This role is based in our office in San Francisco, CA and is required to be in-office 3 days per week.

Responsibilities:
  • Full-Cycle Recruitment: Manage end-to-end recruitment for hardware and product-focused roles, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and extending offers.
  • Talent Sourcing: Utilize a variety of channels (LinkedIn, job boards, networking, events, etc.) to proactively source and attract top talent in hardware, product management, and related technical fields.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with hiring managers and leadership teams to deeply understand hiring needs and define candidate profiles for key technical positions.
  • Candidate Experience: Ensure a positive and engaging candidate experience throughout the recruitment process, from initial contact to offer acceptance.
  • Market Insights: Provide insights into the talent landscape, salary trends, and competitive hiring practices for hardware and product talent.
  • Pipeline Building: Develop and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future hiring needs by cultivating relationships with passive candidates.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve recruitment processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness in hiring top technical talent.
  • Diversity & Inclusion: Actively contribute to building a diverse and inclusive workforce by championing best practices in attracting and retaining diverse talent.
Requirements:
  • Experience: 4-5 years of recruiting experience, with at least 3 years focused on recruiting for hardware and product roles (e.g., hardware engineers, product managers, firmware engineers, etc.) You must also have experience hiring Director levels and above.
  • Technical Acumen: Deep understanding of hardware and product development lifecycles, and the ability to evaluate technical skills and experience for related roles.
  • Sourcing Expertise: Proven track record in sourcing passive candidates for niche technical roles using a variety of sourcing tools and techniques.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence candidates and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Data-Driven: Ability to use data to drive decision-making and provide insights on recruitment metrics and hiring progress.
  • Tech Savvy: Proficient in using applicant tracking systems (ATS), sourcing tools, and recruiting platforms to manage the recruitment process effectively.
  • Team Player: Collaborative attitude with a commitment to achieving team and organizational goals.
  • Experience recruiting for high-growth start up or technology-driven companies.
  • Familiarity with hardware development environments, technical stacks, and emerging product trends.

Salary Range: $100,000 - $130,000
