Job Description:

The HR Generalist will be responsible for supporting and managing a variety of HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, benefits administration, and compliance. This role requires a proactive and adaptable individual who can handle a diverse range of HR tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with recruitment efforts, including posting job openings, screening candidates, and scheduling interviews
  • Manage new hire onboarding and orientation processes
  • Support employee relations by addressing workplace concerns and providing guidance on HR policies
  • Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave management
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases
  • Support performance management processes, including evaluations and feedback
  • Assist in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws
  • Assist with training and development initiatives
  • Provide general administrative support to the HR department
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in an HR generalist or HR coordinator role
  • Strong knowledge of HR functions, including recruitment, benefits administration, and compliance
  • Familiarity with labor laws and HR best practices
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and HR software/systems
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
