AES a division of Lennox, was established in 1988 and is one of the largest manufacturers of roof curbs and drop box diffuser systems in the nation. We have recently expanded our capabilities as a single source supplier by adding a Mechanical Services Division as well as becoming a Misc. Steel manufacturer. These new services will reduce construction costs and eliminate coordination with multiple suppliers and subcontractors. Our focus will be to enhance the services provided to our General Contractor network nationwide. AES has 4 different fabrication facility locations nationwide to assist our customers and reduce their freight cost and shipment lead times.



Job Description:

This scheduler is responsible for the planning and scheduling of materials through production schedules.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

  • Review monthly backlog projections against plant production capacities and provide management with ramp up or down recommendations.
  • Create the manufacturing production schedule for four plants and monitor it throughout the month to ensure on-time product delivery to customers.
  • Inform customer service if requested ship dates are not possible and provide new ship date.
  • Develop management approved decision matrix for production priorities when plant capacity has been reached.
  • Analyze order backlog by sku to determine bulk production runs versus build to order.
  • Monitor finished good inventory for min/max quantities for standard/stock items
  • Analyze production data, identifying bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvements.
  • Coordinate with sales, purchasing, production, and engineering to understand customer demand, ensure availability of raw materials and components, and to optimize production flow.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in production scheduling.

Qualifications:

Qualifications:

  • Requires a high school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Requires at least 5 years related experience.
  • Familiarity with Monday.com and Syspro a plus but not a requirement.
  • Math skills and a good understanding of manufacturing resource planning (MRP).
  • Written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Problem-solving and technical skills.
