Job Summary: As a Recruiting Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in the recruiting process and contribute to building a high-performing team. Working closely with the Talent Acquisition Manager, you will assist with various tasks, including candidate sourcing, interview coordination, and onboarding activities. This internship is an excellent opportunity to develop talent acquisition skills and participate in initiatives to enhance recruiting processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Candidate Sourcing and Pipeline Development
  • Source potential candidates through online channels (e.g. job boards, social media).
  • Build and maintain a robust talent pipeline.
  • Review resumes and applications to identify suitable candidates.
Interview Coordination and Onboarding Support
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews, ensuring a professional candidate experience.
  • Assist with preparing offer letters and onboarding documentation.
Event Participation and Recruitment Initiatives
  • Participate in career fairs and networking events to represent the company.
  • Collaborate on projects focused on candidate engagement, diversity, and inclusion.
ATS Management and Process Improvement
  • Support Talent Acquisition in maintaining accurate record in the ATS (Applicant Tracking System).
  • Lead or contribute to project work (e.g., recruiting guides, candidate feedback surveys).
Requirements:
  • Must be enrolled in an accredited Historically Black College or University (HBCU) as a rising Junior and Senior.
  • Field of Study: Marketing, Business, Communications, and Analytics
  • Minimum 2.75 GPA
  • Strong interest in recruiting, HR, and people operations.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and job boards
