Summary:
Cosm's Operations Team seeks an enthusiastic intern to play an integral role in supporting key initiatives and enhancing our organizational processes. This position offers a unique opportunity to lead and collaborate on projects that shape our office culture, streamline operations, and contribute to the success of our new venue locations. This role may interest students from various backgrounds and majors, such as communications, project management, business administration, and operations management.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute engaging cultural events for our Playa Vista office, fostering a positive and inclusive workplace atmosphere.
- Assist in the planning and logistical support of the Cosm Atlanta Groundbreaking Ceremony, contributing to a successful event launch.
- Conduct research on venue permits and licensing requirements to facilitate the opening of our Atlanta location (may require travel to Atlanta for this role).
- Develop and support implementation of an Administrative Resource Hub/Intranet, offering employees a centralized platform for office-specific procedures and resources.
- Research, draft, and format a monthly company-wide newsletter that highlights key organizational updates and newsworthy developments.
- Collaborate with various departments, including HR, Legal, IT, Marketing, and Product, across all project stages, strengthening your professional network and cross-functional skills.
- Proactively identify operational challenges and recommend improvements through critical, solutions-focused analysis.
- Actively seek and incorporate feedback from peers and stakeholders, while providing constructive input to your team.
- Gain hands-on experience with projects that contribute directly to company goals & building your resume.
- Gain valuable access to Cosm leadership, including our CEO.
- Build your network by connecting with other interns, your intern buddy, teammates and leaders from across the organization.

- Current Communications Major or Communications Degree is a huge plus!
- Available to work in a Cosm Office (hybrid).
- Available to work 20 hours per week during the defined Intern period.
