The compensation for this role includes a base pay range of $25.90-30.85, with the actual pay determined by factors such as skills, experience, education, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity. Additional compensation may be available through shift differentials, bonuses, and other incentives. Base pay is only a portion of the total rewards package.

Position Highlights:
- Full-Time, 40 Hours/Week
- Hours: Monday-Friday, 4 10 hour shifts. NO WEEKENDS OR HOLIDAYS

What You Will Do
- The Surgical Technologist works under the direct supervision of a registered nurse in accordance with the Standards of Practice and within the guidelines of the Illinois Nurse Practice Act
- The Surgical Technologist is responsible for establishing and maintaining a sterile field, a safe patient care environment, and appropriate supplies/equipment as required for the operative procedure.
- Assists surgical team preparing for, during and after surgery.
- Prepares operating room for surgery.
- Acts as scrub person during surgery by performing a combination of tasks as directed by the surgical team.
- Prepares surgical operating suite with sterile and non-sterile instruments and supplies
- Assists with preparing, transporting, positioning, and draping patients.
- Maintains instruments in an organized manner and monitors and tracks instruments counts throughout procedures.
EDUCATION:
- High school diploma or equivalent and graduation from a Surgical Technologist approved program.
- Certified Surgical Technologist, or become certified within 1 year of hire.
- CPR; BLS
- At least 6 months - 3 years Surgical Tech experience
