WHAT WE ARE HUNGRY FOR
We are seeking a Training Coordinator to design and deliver impactful training materials and programs that support our corporate and franchise cafe teams. This role will focus on translating the operational and cultural needs of our cafes into effective e-learning courses, job aids, training manuals, and other learning resources. As a key contributor to the success of our training initiatives, the Training & Development Specialist will ensure that all materials are engaging, on-brand, and aligned with our mission, vision, and values.

WHAT WE ARE HUNGRY FOR
We are seeking a Training Coordinator to design and deliver impactful training materials and programs that support our corporate and franchise cafe teams. This role will focus on translating the operational and cultural needs of our cafes into effective e-learning courses, job aids, training manuals, and other learning resources. As a key contributor to the success of our training initiatives, the Training & Development Specialist will ensure that all materials are engaging, on-brand, and aligned with our mission, vision, and values.
KNOWLEDGE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create high-quality training materials, including e-learning modules, job aids, training manuals, and assessment tools, tailored to cafe operations and team member development needs.
- Collaborative Needs Analysis: Partner with Human Resources, Training, and Operations teams to identify training gaps and opportunities.
- Content Management: Ensure all training materials are accurate, up-to-date, and aligned with operational standards, brand voice, and company values.
- Learning Management System (LMS): Collaborate on the implementation and maintenance of training courses within the LMS, ensuring ease of use and accessibility for cafe teams.
- Brand Representation: Translate our company's mission, vision, and values into compelling training content that inspires cafe teams and reinforces our culture.
- Feedback & Metrics: Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback, assessments, and key performance metrics; make recommendations for improvement.
- Cafe Visits: Visit cafes, as needed, to observe operations, gather insights, and ensure training materials address real-world challenges.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with District Managers and District Production Managers to ensure training initiatives are actionable and impactful.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay informed on training best practices and innovative approaches to learning in retail and food service.
- Other duties may be assigned.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- At least 3-5 years of experience in training and development, particularly in retail/restaurant operations required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams) required.
- Experience creating course materials, including e-learning modules, job aids, guides, and assessment tools.
- Strong writing and editing skills required.
- Experience managing an LMS is a plus.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to effectively balance priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced, ever-changing, and highly entrepreneurial environment.
