We are looking for an Ancillary Marketing Specialist to join our dynamic team in Scottsdale, AZ. This in-office position also offers the flexibility to work from home up to 2 days a week after completion of training.

As the Ancillary Marketing Specialist, you will work with sales to develop and manage marketing initiatives for new and renewal accounts.

Responsibilities:
  • RFP Preparation: Includes collecting, reviewing and filing all prospect data, target pricing, network analysis, utilization review, submitting RFPs to the appropriate markets, negotiation, and preparation and review of client facing proposals/spreadsheet
  • Timely Follow-Up: Respond to client and carrier inquiries in an accurate and timely manner
  • Account Management: Manage accounts assigned in a timely manner ensuring internal/external compliance and deadlines are met
  • Communication: Liaison between internal departments to provide communication and support to external stakeholders
  • Prioritization & Planning: Plan, prioritize and complete day-to-day workload, considering new business, renewal business and day-to-day service responsibilities for the accounts assigned in a timely manner ensuring internal and external deadlines are met
  • Liaison: Initiate communication with Underwriting to prioritize objectives and assist in transition between field and home office
  • Ad Hoc: Other duties and projects as assigned
Qualifications include:
  • Industry Experience: 3+ years in group benefits with Ancillary line knowledge required (Life, Voluntary Life, STD, LTD, Dental, Vision, FMLA)
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred but not required
  • Mathematical Skills: Strong mathematical aptitude and problem-solving skills required
  • Contract Comprehension: Ability to read and interpret contract and policy language for consistency and application
  • Organization Skills: Excellent organization skills and strong attention to detail required
  • Communication: Ability to effectively communicate, written and verbally, with internal and external parties
  • Team Player: Strong ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Prioritization & Planning: Proven ability to effectively prioritize workload, manage time and meet deadlines in fast paced environment
  • Excel Experience: Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills required
