Job Title:
Project Manager – Grant Administration Pay:
$25/hour Location:
Downtown Dallas, TX (must pay for own parking) Hours:
8am-5pm (Hybrid role, 3 days in office, 2 remote) This role is critical in ensuring grant activities remain on schedule, expenditures are accurately documented, and compliance with all grant regulations is maintained. government settings.
Manage the full lifecycle of Federal and State grants, ensuring adherence to grantor agency regulations and internal policies. Track and document expenditures, ensuring compliance with grant requirements. Prepare and submit accurate financial and programmatic reports to funding agencies and leadership. Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and deliverables for grant-funded initiatives. Collaborate with departments to align on grant activities, deadlines, and objectives. Proactively identify and resolve project risks or delays to keep initiatives on track. Oversee grant budgets, ensuring compliance with regulations and financial policies. Reconcile expenditures and facilitate budget modifications or amendments as necessary. Work closely with finance teams to ensure accurate reporting and fund allocation. Maintain comprehensive and audit-ready grant documentation, including contracts, invoices, and communications. Generate detailed reports summarizing project progress, financial data, and challenges for stakeholders and leadership. Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders regarding grant administration. Facilitate regular meetings with departments to review progress and address issues. Build and maintain strong relationships with grantor agencies, partners, and community organizations. Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field. 3-5 years of experience in project management, grant administration, or financial oversight, preferably in government or municipal settings. Must have City of Dallas Municipality experience Experience working with government agencies or similar organizations is strongly preferred. Proficiency in accounting principles, budget management, and financial reporting. Familiarity with Federal and State grant regulations and compliance standards. Strong analytical, organizational, and time-management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for effective collaboration. Proficiency with project management tools, accounting software, and Microsoft Office Suite. Attention to Detail:
