Banquet Houseperson

The Banquet Houseperson at The Verve Hotel - Boston Natick plays a crucial role in ensuring the successful execution of events and functions. This position requires exceptional attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The Banquet Houseperson will primarily be responsible for setting up, maintaining, and breaking down event spaces, as well as providing support to the banquet team.

Responsibilities:

• Set up banquet and meeting rooms according to event orders and specifications.
• Arrange tables, chairs, linens, and other necessary equipment.
• Ensure proper cleanliness and organization of event spaces.
• Assist banquet servers with food and beverage service.
• Respond to guest requests and concerns in a prompt and professional manner.
• Monitor and maintain inventory of banquet supplies.
• Assist in the transportation of event equipment.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a similar role preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods.
• Knowledge of proper food handling and safety regulations.
• On-Call position - Flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
