The opportunity
Harvard Business Publishing's Corporate Learning division targets enterprises that recognize leadership development as a source of competitive advantage. The Corporate Learning (CL) team's expertise is in creating rich, interactive learning experiences that develop leaders who shape their organizations' futures by making smart decisions at critical moments.
The Product Marketing Manager leads HBP CL's promotional and positioning approach for our industry leading leadership development solutions. The role is responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies to position our solutions in the market, drive product awareness, adoption, and revenue growth globally. We're looking for a strategic thinker who will collaborate cross-functionally to assess performance and fit of solutions within the overall product portfolio and contribute to identifying gaps and opportunities for new offerings.
What you'll do
Develop and execute global go-to-market strategies to drive product awareness, adoption, and revenue growth.
Create customer personas that represent our target customer's characteristics, behaviors, and needs, and so influence and guide messaging and positioning efforts.
Develop our product's overall positioning in the market including:
Identifying target audiences
Understanding the competitive landscape
Developing, in collaboration with key stakeholders, a value proposition that differentiates our products from the competition.
Develop and execute targeted long-term marketing plans / campaigns across multiple channels, including digital, events, and social media.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including:
Product management to understand the product's features and benefits and develop messaging that effectively communicates the advantages and attributes to our target audiences.
Sales teams to understand customer pain points and objections, and to develop messaging for assets that addresses those concerns.
Sales, and customer success, to ensure successful product launches and ongoing product success.
Contribute to market research to understand customer needs, preferences, and behaviors, leveraging surveys, interviews, focus groups, and other methods.
Support sales enablement strategies through the creation of presentations.
Contribute to reports on product performance metrics, including revenue, adoption, and customer feedback, to inform product strategy and marketing initiatives.
Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices to drive innovation and continuous improvement in product marketing strategies.
What you'll bring
5+ years of experience in product marketing, preferably in professional services or a related field.
Strong understanding of B2B marketing and sales, with experience marketing to global 2000 companies.
Demonstrated experience in developing and executing successful go-to-market strategies for intangible products and services.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, global, and dynamic environment.
Passion for driving business growth and customer success through effective marketing strategies.

$95,000 - $115,000
Above is the annualized pay range for this position. In addition, this position includes the opportunity to earn our annual Performance Based Variable Pay Program. Actual salary will be set based upon a range of factors, including external benchmark market data, individual knowledge, skills, experience, location and internal equity.
