Undergraduate Co-op Program Overview-

A Day in Your Life at MKS:
As an Undergraduate Intern / Co-op, you will partner with the Human Resources team to support the daily operation of the Irvine facility through collaborative and meaningful work. In this role, you will report to the Sr. Manager of Human Resources.
You Will Make an Impact By:
- Supporting the onboarding process by preparing orientation materials and assisting new hires
- Assisting with exit interviews and offboarding procedures, and discovering more about how the HR department can optimize retention
- Supporting employees by providing answers to questions and assisting with issue resolution
- Helping prepare and distribute HR communications
- Participating in the organization and coordination of HR events, training sessions, and meetings
- Helping compile and analyze HR metrics and reports
- Electronically filing HR documents and other HR administrative responsibilities
Skills You Bring:
- Enrolled in a Bachelor's Degree program for H uman Resources Management, Business, or another related field
- Experience working in an office or manufacturing environment preferred
- Proficiency in MS Office, well-developed computer skills, and the ability to complete administrative tasks efficiently
- Must possess well-developed communication skills and be a good team player
- Qualified candidate must be US Persons
- Relocation and temporary housing benefits are not available for this position
Physical Demands and Working Conditions:
- Will perform activities such as sitting, standing, or typing for extended periods of time
- Must be able to communicate information and ideas so others will understand
- Will primarily work in an indoor office and manufacturing environment, with some outdoor settings
Compensation and Benefits:
Hourly Pay: $19.00 to 25.00 per hour. This is a good faith estimate of the expected salary for this position, based on a wide range of factors including qualifications, experience and training, operational and business needs and other considerations permitted by law. At MKS, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for the role.
Benefits: MKS offers a benefits package for interns/co-ops working at least 20 hours per week, including 11 paid holidays, sick time, and 15 paid vacation days accrued on a biweekly basis.
The application period for the intern/co-op position is estimated to be through the end of March 2025; however, this may be shortened or extended depending on business needs and the availability of qualified candidates
