Huber Cabinet Works is seeking a Microvellum and AutoCAD Engineer to become a part of our team! We are a custom architectural millwork company, located in the Logan Square neighborhood in Chicago, that specializes in high end commercial interiors. We work with Chicago's finest contractor's on projects for some of the most well known corporations in the world!

Responsibilities

  • Work with Microvellum to program AutoCAD Fabrication drawings into CNC program files in order for cabinetry and millwork to be machined for assembly
  • Coordinate with project manager, shop manager and field carpenters to execute assigned projects.
  • Review architectural floor plans, elevations and details to produce highly detailed millwork fabrication drawings
  • Correct shop drawings per Architect's comments, with all field measurements and site details, for fabrication
  • Review and modify designs to reduce production deficiencies.
  • Time will be split working with AutoCAD for submittal / fabrication drawings and Microvellum for CNC programming.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in Millwork and Casework drafting and programming is required
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and/or Microvellum (BSolid experience a plus)
  • Possess a mechanical aptitude and understanding of assembly details
  • Works well in a team setting

Pay range listed. Compensation based on level of experience.
