Maker's Space Assistant Are you excited about helping students bring their ideas to life in a hands-on, creative environment? Were looking for a Maker Space Assistant to help keep our maker space running smoothly and support students as they explore and create. In this role, youll assist with day-to-day operations, help students with their projects, and ensure the space remains clean, organized, and accessible to all. What Youll Do: Provide hands-on support to students as they work on creative projects, guiding them in using the maker space tools and equipment. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring a safe and efficient environment for all users. Assist with entry-level projects, helping students learn the basics of 3D printing, laser engraving, crafting, and hand tools. Promote the maker space's resources and opportunities to students, faculty, and staff, encouraging more people to take advantage of this collaborative space. Qualifications: Some familiarity with 3D printing, laser engraving, or crafting tools is a plus, but don't worry--- additional training will be provided. A passion for supporting others in a creative, hands-on setting.
