Operations Intern

Johnstone Supply is seeking an organized and detail-oriented Operations intern to join our team. This internship will provide hands-on experience in operations management, process improvement, and data analysis This role is ideal for someone with an analytical mindset and an interest in business operations.
 
RESPONSIBILITIES
Process Improvement

• Identify areas for process optimization and assist in implementing changes to improve efficiency and productivity

Data Analysis

• Collect and analyze data related to operational performance, inventory, and workflows to support decision-making

Documentation and Reporting

• Maintain accurate records of operational processes and prepare reports to track and communicate key metrics

Inventory Management

• Help monitor inventory levels, coordinate with suppliers, and support order fulfillment processes as needed

Quality Control
 

• Assist in quality assurance tasks, including product inspections, workflow audits, and compliance checks

Cross-Functional Collaboration
 

• Work closely with other departments, such as finance sales, and logistics, to ensure smooth operational processes.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering or a related field
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in Excell
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Self-starter with a proactive approach to learning and contributing
