HDR's global Human Resources department provides recruitment, benefits, compensation, wellness and success management to our 13,000 employee owners around the world. As a Human Resources Intern, you'll gain valuable experience across multiple HR functions, giving you insight into the comprehensive services of a global HR department. This role offers hands-on learning that will contribute to your professional development and support your future career in HR.
Key Responsibilities
- Leveraging a variety of data and system platforms to enhance reporting capabilities and improve end user experience for both our employees and global HR network
- Assist with data validation and reporting tasks to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Extract, merge, and analyze data from HR systems to support tracking and decision-making processes.
- Provide technical and administrative support for various HR initiatives.
- Assist with special projects or ad hoc tasks as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- 2 years of coursework completed toward degree, with a minimum 3.0 GPA
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, etc.)
- Strong Excel skills; familiarity with SharePoint, PowerBI, and other data analysis tools is a plus
- Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program
- Attention to detail a must
- Must possess strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Basic Microsoft Office skills
- An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
