Position Description
As the Trade Marketing Manager at BHAKTA Spirits, you will be responsible for developing and executing trade marketing strategies to increase brand visibility, drive distribution, and grow sales across on-premise (bars, restaurants) and off-premise (retailers) channels. You will work closely with the sales and marketing teams to develop promotional programs that align with brand positioning, as well as with distributors and retail partners to ensure flawless execution at the point of sale. This is a hybrid job which requires weekly visits to our headquarters in Poultney, VT.

Responsibilities
Trade Marketing Strategy Development: Develop and implement trade marketing plans and programs that support BHAKTA Spirits' overall sales and marketing objectives. Analyze market trends and competitor activities to ensure the brand remains competitive and well-positioned within the spirits industry.

Vendor Management: Develop a network of local and global vendors to design, create and manufacture at competitive rates.

Project Manager (Packaging): Work alongside the CEO and Brand Managers to create bespoke packaging experiences for our luxury portfolio.

Brand Activation & Promotion: Create and manage in-store and on-premise promotional activities, including events, tastings, merchandising, and displays. Collaborate with sales teams and distributors to ensure brand standards are upheld in all retail environments.

Sales Support & Enablement: Design trade promotional materials and POS (point of sale) tools to support BHAKTA Spirits' portfolio at the retail and on-premise level. Develop sales presentations, catalogs, and training programs for distributor partners and retail customers.

Distributor & Retailer Relationships: Foster strong relationships with key distributor partners, ensuring that BHAKTA Spirits is top-of-mind for their sales teams. Collaborate with retail buyers to secure prime shelf space, execute promotions, and monitor retail performance.

Performance Tracking & Reporting: Measure and report on the effectiveness of trade marketing initiatives, analyzing ROI, sales lift, and other KPIs. Use insights from sales data, market research, and customer feedback to optimize future programs.

Budget Management: Manage trade marketing budget effectively, ensuring maximum ROI from promotional spend and that programs stay within allocated resources.

Requirements
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in trade marketing or a similar role within the spirits, beverage, or consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry.
- Proven track record of working with distributors, retailers, and on-premise accounts in a sales or marketing capacity.
- This is a hybrid opportunity that requires frequent travel toPoultney, VT.
