The Horton Law Group, P.A. is a Boutique Civil Litigation Law Firm located in Boca Raton. We are looking to hire a full time or part time bookkeeper. Office Hours are 8:30am - 5pm, in person, Monday - Friday. Background checks are required. Three references are required. Must be trustworthy, organized, efficient, intelligent and a team player.  We are looking for a bookkeeper who has prior experience working in a Law Office. 

Job Duties include, but are not limited to:

Must be extremely experienced with Quick books

Payroll and payroll taxes

Dictations/Client invoicing/processing invoices and ensuring clients pay timely

Managing office budgets

Must have experience with Billing Software, QuickBooks, Excel, Outlook and Microsoft, etc, to ensure the efficient running of the office.

Notarizing Documents

Opening New client files electronically

Paying Office Expenses/Bills

Making sure we meet all deadlines for memberships, legal dues, bills, taxes, permits, etc.

preparing inventories, accountings and fee affidavits for litigation matters

Assisting the Principal Partner with daily office tasks.

Running Errands so you need to have a reliable vehicle (bank, post office, courthouse, etc).

Also, MUST love dogs. We have two pugs in the office every day.
