EDUCATION: Degree in Accounting or equivalent experience
EXPERIENCE: 5+ years of accounting and leadership experience

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Accounting Manager to lead our Accounting Team. The Accounting Manager will oversee the daily operations of the Accounting Team (Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Accounting), ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, and provide strategic financial insights to support business decisions. This role is critical for maintaining the financial integrity of the company by enforcing internal controls, compliance with regulatory requirements, and supporting organizational growth.
What You’ll Accomplish and Experience
- Financial Reporting:
Oversee the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports, ensuring compliance with GAAP/IFRS and other regulatory requirements. - General Ledger Management:
Manage and ensure the accuracy of all general ledger entries, reconciliations, and month-end and year-end closing processes. - Team Leadership & Development:
Lead and mentor the accounting team, providing guidance and professional development opportunities to ensure high performance and accuracy. - Budgeting & Forecasting:
Collaborate with the finance team to prepare, monitor, and analyze the company’s budget, forecasts, and variance reports. - Internal Controls & Compliance:
Implement and enforce internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with corporate policies, tax regulations, and relevant accounting standards. - Audit Coordination:
Coordinate internal and external audits, preparing documentation, and managing audit requests to ensure timely completion. - Accounts Payable & Receivable:
Oversee the management of accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and fixed assets to ensure accurate processing and timely payments/collections. - Process Improvement:
Identify opportunities for streamlining accounting operations and improving overall financial efficiency and accuracy. Lead initiatives to implement process improvements and automation.
Desirable Previous Experience
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and accounting systems, Microsoft Business Central (preferred), and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling.
- Proficient use of P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow Statements, and other account reporting.
- Advanced experience with Microsoft Products (Word, Teams, Outlook, etc)
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing team. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
- Strong Problem-Solving Skills and ability to analyze complex financial data for multi-entity business structures
- Knowledge of tax regulations, auditing processes, and financial compliance requirements.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
