Duties Description The individual selected for this position will be responsible for electronic storage (scanning), data entry, , and preparing records for retention in the warehouse. The individual will support other DOW general permit programs, the renewable energy group in BWC, and the overall BWC programs. Strong communication skills and good computer skills are necessary to complete job duties for the position.
Duties and Essential Functions:
The successful candidate will apply their administrative and technical knowledge to support the Bureau of Water Compliance in its mission for consistent statewide understanding and implementation of Division of Water (DOW) compliance and enforcement activities.
The successful candidate will have ability to learn and complete the following essential functions:
* Data entry into EPA's data system Integrated Compliance Information System (ICIS)
* Must be able to effectively use Microsoft Office
* keeping records;
* retrieving and compiling information;
* performing basic arithmetic calculations;
* mail, supply, and inventory functions;
* some keyboarding and other document preparation tasks;
* answering telephones;
* completing forms;
* answering questions or otherwise assisting customers;
* creating or assisting in the preparation of reports, charts, graphs, and tables.
Minimum Qualifications There are no minimum education or experience requirements for this title.
Preferred qualifications: Strong communication skills and good computer skills
Additional Comments This is a hourly appointment currently funded through 3/31/2025, with a likelihood of continuing beyond that date. Program needs and funding will determine actual termination date.
Telecommuting may be available, will be discussed at interview.
