Minimum Qualifications Excellent verbal and written skills; Highly organized; Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Minimum of 2-3 years relevant experience in an office environment; legislative experience preferred.
Duties Description Assists the Deputy Director in the performance of administrative responsibilities; Lends support to the staff by producing formal typewritten or printed documents, and by providing communication services such as reception of visitors, routing of calls and messages and maintenance of information and files.
Responsible for typing or printing the written work product as needed, and other clerical and communication functions including: maintaining schedules; preparation of memoranda, correspondence, reports, notices, bill drafts, public mailings, and other routine documents.
Receive and route telephone requests and maintain a filing system; perform routine clerical operations such as preparing supply lists, routing mail and obtaining messages.
Additional Comments Ability to work a flexible schedule that may include long hours and possibly nights.
