Job Title:Project Manager & Production Scheduler

Location:Spartanburg, SC

Salary:$90k 105k + Bonus



New Manufacturing Facility is seeking a Project Manager & Production Scheduler to lead their team!


RESPONSIBILITIES

Project Management: Oversee project planning and execution, including resource allocation, timeline tracking, and progress reporting to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

Production Scheduling: Develop and maintain production schedules based on demand forecasts, resource availability, and operational capacity, optimizing efficiency and minimizing downtime.

Cross-Departmental Coordination: Work closely with supply chain, production, and quality control teams to ensure alignment on material needs, production targets, and project milestones.

Resource Planning: Monitor and adjust schedules to manage workload distribution effectively, coordinating with procurement to avoid material shortages and ensure timely availability.

Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements that increase production efficiency and reduce lead times, utilizing lean manufacturing principles where applicable.

Risk Management: Anticipate potential bottlenecks and proactively develop mitigation plans to address issues that could impact production or project timelines.

Data Analysis and Reporting: Track production data to assess performance metrics, generate reports, and present updates to leadership, highlighting key achievements and areas for improvement.



QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelors degree in Project Management, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field preferred.

4+ years of experience in project management or production scheduling, preferably in a manufacturing or HVAC environment.

Strong understanding of production planning, project management principles, and lean manufacturing practices.

Proficiency in project management software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.

Requires 10% LOCAL travel
