About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced DONRN to join our team. As a DONRN, you will be responsible for overseeing the nursing staff and ensuring the highest level of patient care. You will be expected to lead by example and provide guidance and support to the nursing team. Your ultimate goal will be to ensure that our patients receive the best possible care and that our nursing staff is equipped with the necessary tools and resources to succeed.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Active RN license in good standing.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a nursing leadership role.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nursing or related field.
- Experience working in a hospital or acute care setting.
- Certification in nursing leadership or administration.
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the nursing staff and ensure that all patient care is delivered in accordance with established standards and protocols.
- Provide guidance and support to the nursing team, including training and development opportunities.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and ensure that all documentation is complete and in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ensure that all nursing staff are aware of and adhere to best practices.
Skills:
As a DONRN, you will utilize your strong leadership and communication skills to oversee the nursing staff and ensure that all patient care is delivered in accordance with established standards and protocols. You will also use your problem-solving and critical thinking abilities to develop and implement patient care plans, and to participate in quality improvement initiatives.
