Job Description
JOB TITLE: New Business Development Representative
LOCATION: Vernon Hills, IL
DEPARTMENT: Sales Department
REPORTS TO: National Sales Manager
SARALY: 85K/year
Primary Function:
As the Business Development Representative, you will drive company
growth by identifying and creating targeted sales opportunities with new customers. This
role focuses on collaborating with the existing sales representative network and sales
management teams.
Responsibilities:
• Using market research & analysis to develop sales and marketing strategies for new sales
opportunities potential clients.
• Analyze sales and marketing data & perform research to determine sales trends, service
user profiles and demographics, competitor sales and other relevant marketing
information.
• Review market analysis to determine customer needs, volume potential, and develop
sales campaigns to accommodate goals of company.
• Engage with potential and existing customers to schedule and perform product
presentations of all Fuji products including software.
• Prepare periodic sales reports and analyze data to assess effectiveness of marketing
strategies.
• Engage potential clients to create a demand in the company's product line,
enabling the sales team to make sales presentations to introduce our technologies
and services.
• Represent company at industry events and trade association meetings to promote product.
• Continuously keep the sales channel teams up to date with latest factory information to
support sales opportunities, as well as relaying opportunities to sales reps.
• Willingness to travel approximately 50% nationwide.
• Other duties as assigned by National Sales Manager.
Experience:
• Two-Three years capital equipment sales.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Excellent oral, written and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft office products and CRM.
• Ability to problem-solve, manage details, and prioritize tasks efficiently in a
demanding environment.
Physical/Mental Requirements:
Walking, balancing, standing, climbing, crouching, kneeling, sitting, reaching, lifting (10 lbs
minimum daily), carry, pushing, handling, talking, hearing, seeing depth perception. Ability to
use phone, computer, keyboard, etc. Mental requirements include but are not limited to the ability
to concentrate, take initiative, cope with stress, adapt to and stay alert in a business environment,
and to use independent judgement to accomplish.
