About the InternshipThe HR Intern will have the opportunity to explore and become involved in a variety of areas within our Human Resources team. Interns will contribute to project work and day-to-day tasks associated with recruitment, onboarding, benefits, compensation and employee programs at PREMIER, among other unique tasks and assignments. Our interns will also work collaboratively and gain first-hand experience with our policies and procedures while maintaining compliance and regulatory requirements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Work closely with HR staff to experience different roles, answer employee questions and/or research possible resolutions.
  • Research and design department related reports and presentations.
  • Assist with specific projects and initiatives as assigned.
  • Lead in the development of special projects and report and share updates often.
  • Design spreadsheets for analysis and audits.
  • Contribute to department-wide efforts to support PREMIER and its employees.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Applicant should be enrolled in or pursuing higher education
  • Demonstrates proficiency with Microsoft Office products
  • Ability to be patient and attentive to detail
  • Excellent verbal and listening skills and ability to use positive language
  • Excellent time management skills
