Job Description
We are offering a contract for a contract to hire position as a PART TIME Bookkeeper in EASTON, Pennsylvania. The Bookkeeper will play a crucial role in managing our financial data and compliance by maintaining accurate books on accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and daily financial entries and reconciliations. The role involves performing daily accounting tasks such as monthly financial reporting, general ledger entries, and recording payments and adjustments.
Responsibilities:
• Recording all accounting transactions in compliance with federal, state, and local legal requirements
• Developing and updating a system for accounting and financial transactions, along with defining bookkeeping policies and procedures
• Organizing and preserving historical financial records by filing documents properly
• Performing bank reconciliations, ensuring all balances are correct and entries are accurately reconciled
• Assisting in the preparation of financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends
• Processing customer credit applications accurately and efficiently, and maintaining accurate customer credit records
• Executing month-end close procedures and postings
• Contributing to team objectives by accomplishing related results as needed
• Managing accounts payable and receivable duties, and performing data entry tasks as necessary
• Utilizing QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel for various bookkeeping and accounting tasks

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP)
• Skilled in handling Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Familiarity with Bank Reconciliations
• Strong competence in Bookkeeping
• Ability to perform Data Entry tasks efficiently
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Experience in Month End Close procedures
• Knowledge of Payroll processes
• Proficiency in using QuickBooks software
