The Role

Jimini wants to grow into the most revolutionary company in mental health in the next few years. We are looking for a VP of Growth Marketing that has the rich experience detailed below, and also wants to work extremely hard to make a 'career-making' role helping Jimini achieve its full potential.

As the Head of Growth, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing Jimini Health's growth & marketing strategy to further elevate our brand, expand our reach, and drive client acquisition. You will build & lead the marketing team, collaborate closely with other members of leadership, and leverage your deep experience in high-growth scaling to create impactful marketing initiatives.

Background in owning paid / performance marketing channels is a must; advanced analytics skills in Segment and SQL are preferred. The Head of Growth will report directly to Jimini Health's CEO.

We are seeking a driven professional with a proven track record in direct-to-consumer businesses, particularly with consumer healthcare and/or e-commerce experience. The ideal candidate will possess a unique blend of strategic vision, analytical prowess, and hands-on experience in quantitative marketing techniques, with a focus on performance marketing. What We Are Looking For
  • 7+ years of experience as a performance marketing or growth marketing executive [with at least 3 years of management experience]
  • Strong vision and experience, but open to ideas and excited about collaboration with all colleagues.
  • An extremely hard worker at your peak, wanting to put in your very best over the next years, and looking for a career-making role.
  • Proven track record in a high-growth/fast-scaling direct-to-consumer (DTC) startup company Series A or later. DTC health and wellness or e-commerce experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies that contributed to revenue growth and market expansion.
  • Owned large monthly marketing budgets (5, or preferred 6+ digits) with experience optimizing the marketing mix for efficiency.
  • Openness to data-driven approach to all problems, and expertise in analyzing and interpreting data to drive product and marketing strategies, with experience in conducting A/B testing and experimentation.
  • Demonstrated resilience and adaptability in a fast-paced startup environment, with a strong capacity for navigating change and an entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Expertise in quantitative marketing techniques, including performance marketing, data analytics, and ROI optimization.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and insights to drive informed decision-making.
  • Excellent copy writing skills, master storyteller with ability to craft a compelling narrative across different channels

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning and Execution:
  • Design multi-channel marketing objectives for DTC acquisition and retention, including brand and performance channels and CRM, to drive efficient revenue growth.
  • Manage reporting of performance marketing and brand initiatives, taking a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Work with CEO and Chief Commercial Officer to craft strategy and messaging for entering and winning in payer and employer channels.
  • Work with CEO and Chief Product Officer to craft user trajectory that maximizes referrals and retention.

Customer Acquisition & Retention:
  • Define media mix and plan and tightly manage online and offline media budget optimizing to deliver efficient CPAs while achieving ambitious DTC growth targets.
  • Drive customer acquisition initiatives utilizing various channels, including digital marketing, content marketing, social media, email, SEO/SEM, events, influencer, partnerships, and PR.
  • Develop, with internal and external resources, brand-right creative designed to convert new subscribers and members.
  • Manage agencies and team members, including selecting providers, making in-source/out-source decisions.
  • Define and execute retention/reactivation strategies, working with product and engineering teams, to improve cross-service attachment rate and drive patient lifetime value.
  • Define adtech and marketing tech stack, selecting and implementing tools and automation to drive efficiencies.

Social Media and Organic
  • Manage an aggressive and targeted social media presence for the company
  • Manage organic growth methods, including direct messaging and leveraging people's social connections. This includes thinking outside the box and planning and optimizing in-person events for client acquisition and brand building
  • Manage influencer marketing

Product Marketing and Positioning:
  • Lead funnel conversion efforts, owning all copy, visuals and A/B testing.
  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to develop and execute effective go-to-market strategies for new products or enhancements, ensuring seamless integration of market trends and user feedback into product features and enhancements.
  • Ensure product positioning aligns with market trends and patient needs as well as the Jimini Health brand identity.

Data-Driven Insights and Analytics:
  • Leverage data and analytics to make informed decisions, measure marketing effectiveness, and optimize campaigns for maximum impact.
  • Establish and monitor KPIs to assess overall marketing performance and ROI.
  • Track industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscape. Conduct market research and analysis to identify opportunities, threats, and emerging market segments.

Brand Management:
  • Oversee the evolution and reinforcement of the Jimini Health brand, ensuring it aligns with our market positioning and resonates with our target audiences.
  • Own the brand voice and define and enforce brand and style guidelines, setting creative strategy and ensuring clear and powerful messages about the products, brand and value proposition tailored for different DTC segments.

Team Development:
  • Define team organizational structure and make key marketing hires as needed.
  • Provide strong leadership to the marketing team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, psychological safety, and innovation.
  • Mentor and develop team members to enhance their skills and capabilities.
