We have an opportunity for a Senior Principal RF Design Engineer who will utilize their academic background and professional experience in RF / Microwave system theory and design to develop the next generation of Raytheon's Radar Receiver, Exciter, and Transmitter products. Key Responsibilities

Architecture development, requirements analysis, hardware design, hands-on testing of components, circuit card assemblies, and subsystems. Design and development of transmitters, receivers, or exciters. Design and optimization of RF circuits – either chains of components (receiver, exciter, etc.) or individual parts (filters, limiters, couplers, etc.). Working with interdisciplinary teams – power, digital, mechanical, etc. Schematic capture and RF routing. Technical support during transition to production and support to production activities. Cost and schedule management plus proposal writing. Qualifications

Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum 10 years' of prior work experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years' of prior work experience. Experience with Microwave/RF system, subsystem and/or component analysis, design and/or test. Experience with electromagnetic simulation tools (e.g., HFSS, ADS, CST, and/or Mentor Graphics' Xpedition) and analytical tools (e.g., MATLAB). The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance. Salary Information

$118,000 - $246,000 USD per year. Salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
