About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team in developing cutting-edge radar systems. This is a unique opportunity to utilize your expertise in RF/Microwave system theory and design to help shape the future of Raytheon's Radar Receiver, Exciter, and Transmitter products. Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement system architectures, analyze requirements, design hardware, and conduct hands-on testing of components, circuit card assemblies, and subsystems. Design and develop transmitters, receivers, or exciters using advanced RF circuits and simulation tools. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including power, digital, mechanical, and software engineers. Schematic capture and RF routing, technical support during production transition, and proposal writing. Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) with 10 years of experience or Advanced Degree in a related field with 7 years of experience. Extensive experience in Microwave/RF system analysis, design, and test. Familiarity with electromagnetic simulation tools (HFSS, ADS, CST, Xpedition) and analytical tools (MATLAB). Able to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance. Preferred Qualifications

Experience translating system performance specifications into hardware requirements and design specifications. Background in designing for manufacturability, producibility, and cost constraints. Problem-solving skills and ability to identify alternate solutions to overcome difficult technical challenges. About the Benefits

Raytheon offers a competitive salary range of $118,000 - $246,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
