Radiologic Technologist - Computed Tomography Compensation The pay for this position is $57 per hour Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment. A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates. Radiologic Technologist - Computed Tomography Highlights This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs. The required availability for this position is 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, including weekdays and rotating weekends. Radiologic Technologist - Computed Tomography Responsibilities Perform computerized tomographic radiological procedures on patients, including general diagnostic radiology exams. Explain examination procedures to patients and prepare them for the examination. Review clinical data, analyze anatomical structures, and perform CT scans with proper diagnostic techniques. Administer intravenous contrast media and monitor patients for potential reactions. Assist Radiologists with complex sterile diagnostic procedures such as biopsies. Ensure high-quality image delivery into PACS and complete all necessary documentation. Demonstrate radiation protection principles and adhere to clinical protocols. Radiologic Technologist - Computed Tomography Requirements High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required. Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) and the advanced registry in Computed Tomography (CT) or registry-eligible. BLS certification is required. Strong customer service and teamwork skills. Must be self-directed, flexible, and open to new learning experiences. Physical Demands/Working Conditions May work in a hospital with a fixed unit or in a mobile unit. Potential exposure to radiation, high-voltage equipment, and contagious patients. Occasionally may lift/move equipment or patients exceeding 10 lbs.
